Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This place is FABULOUS! What a gem I wish I would have found sooner. I ordered an assortment of premade meals, pastries etc and they were delicious. My SIL has celiac and she said it was so good and couldn’t believe it was all GF. We will definitely be repeat customers.

We recently got desserts from JP's Pastry for dietarily-restricted guests at our wedding and they were perfect! Ordering online was super easy, pickup went smoothly, and everyone loved their desserts! We had a huge dessert bar, so being able to also have lots of options for our gluten, dairy, nut free, and vegan guests was really special.

I recently purchased a loaf of bread from your bakery for $15, and unfortunately it developed mold within just 3.5 days. When I called the store to ask about shelf life, I was told that all items must be refrigerated after 48 hours since they contain no preservatives, and that this is your policy. While I completely understand and appreciate the commitment to preservative-free baking, I am extremely disappointed that this important detail was never shared with me. I’ve purchased from your bakery three times now, and not once has this policy been mentioned verbally nor is it written on the product label. Perhaps it is written somewhere in the store but the gentlemen who I purchased from made no mention of it. The other items I bought in the past were kept in the fridge, so I naturally stored them that wayβ€”but the bread was displayed at room temperature, so I didn’t think to refrigerate it. I’ve never had a loaf of bread spoil that quickly, and had I known it needed to be eaten within 48 hours or refrigerated immediately, I likely would have reconsidered spending $15 on it. What was most discouraging was the response I received when I calledβ€”the person I spoke with simply apologize

I've had JPs in while foods or other establishments but obviously with a very limited selection. They are based out of Benson so I was excited to hear they were opening up a storefront in Raleigh! So maybe more choices! I love their vegan date bar. They have many vegan choices and everything is gluten free. I'm excited to build a gluten-free gift basket for a client of mine this week using their pastries.

I recently discovered JP’s Pastry, the only certified gluten-free certified bakery in the RTP area, and I was thrilled to check it out. When I arrived, I was delighted to find not only a wide variety of gluten-free options but also dairy-free treats! They offer an impressive selection, from freshly baked breads and cakes to frozen treats and even pasta. The staff does an excellent job ensuring people with food allergies can safely enjoy delicious, high-quality baked goods. I absolutely loved my experience and 100% recommend JP’s Pastry to anyone looking for safe, tasty, and inclusive treats!
